EP-4004 is a premium high-build 2K black epoxy primer engineered for exceptional adhesion and ultimate corrosion resistance. Ideal for metal, steel, aluminum, and fiberglass surfaces, it provides a remarkably smooth foundation with excellent filling properties. It acts as a robust barrier, ensuring optimal performance, durability, and true color representation for your topcoat.

Application Guide
Step 1: Preparation
- Clean the surface thoroughly to remove all dust, grease, wax, and rust. Sand the surface to create a mechanical profile for better adhesion, then wipe clean with a wax and grease remover prior to application.
Step 2: Mixing
- Mix the primer base and hardener at a 4:1 ratio. Add epoxy thinner at 1 part, or approximately 25% - 40% by volume (4:1:1 ratio). Stir the mixture thoroughly until completely blended before pouring it into the spray gun.
Step 3: Application & Cure
- Apply 2-3 medium-wet coats, allowing 10-15 minutes of flash-off time between coats. Allow to air dry completely at room temperature or bake at 60°C for 30-40 minutes before final sanding and topcoat application.

Safety & Storage
- Keep containers tightly closed after use. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, heat, and ignition sources. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including a chemical respirator, safety goggles, and gloves during mixing and application.
